Massage Support for 112 Mile Skate
A crowd of supporters showed up to see Simon Coburn cross the finish line, in Stroud, as he completed an incredible 112 mile skate from London to Stroud in one day!
This incredible feat of athleticism was in an effort to help raise funds for a new "Rush Skate Park". The original park which for years, nurtured local talent, provided a place for children, teenagers, adults, and professional riders to practice and hone their skills. The site was sadly closed down by the council as it had been earmarked for further development.
This was a crushing blow to the Rush community, and since then, they have been on a mission to create a new world-class, mega-park in the Gloucestershire area.
You can watch their story here.
Founder of Cotswold Mobile Massage, Kate Browne, joined supporters at the finish line, ready to provide some well deserved massage to Simon's burning legs! Rush Skate Park has been a place close to Kate's heart, as it one of the first places she began working as a mobile therapist when she first started a decade ago. Kate provided onsite-chair massage for championship events and competitions, providing remedial massage to competitors and spectators alike.
